Conditions:
Temperature: race started at -2F and ended at 9F, very little wind, clear blue sky; all sections are nicely groomed with 7 -8 packed base, clean tracks, double track sets with best line. Due to the cold weather overnight on Friday and nippy temperature in the early morning of -17F at 7am, more skiers decided to switch to the 16K classic race category.
Race Distances:
10K (freestyle race), 16K (classic race), and 6K (tour) - 10K freestyle race mass start first, then 16K classic race mass start with 6K tour.
