SCROLL DOWN FOR RECENT PHOTOS!!! JULY 19Th, 2010: This past weeks guests at the resort were catching a good number of crappies during the evening hours on minnows. We have also had reports by the guests of nice sized pan fish being caught. Our large mouth bass reports have been a little slow however with the warmer summer temps we would expect that action to pick up considerably. Walleyes were being caught last week of June on Lindy rigs and leeches; crank baits should start producing also.

Rainbow Resort has access to three lakes and a river for you to fish on. Fish can also be caught right from the dock. The very clean & clear spring fed lakes are at the beginning of the headwaters of the Otter Tail River system. The lakes offer very good fishing opportunities with a variety of fish species including pan fish, crappies, large mouth bass, perch, northern and walleye pike, bull heads & rock bass.

Our spring/fall/winter specials include HALF-PRICE RATES for MIDWEEK stays (Monday thru Thursday); HALF-PRICE RATES Sunday night if you stay a Friday & Saturday night; 25% weekend discount for 2-persons in a 2-bedroom cabin and 20% discount for groups of 20 or more. July 18Th; 2010: Les caught and released this 20 inch Large mouth bass on a picture perfect morning. He also caught two 18" walleyes the evening prior.

July 10Th; 2010: How about this for a walleye. Gail caught this 30", 9# 8oz. eye on a night crawler during the middle of the day. After a few years of time put on the water she said when she first hooked this baby she figured for sure it would turn out to be anything but this trophy walleye. Great Job Gail!

June 25Th; 2010: This 27" walleye was one of a good number of fish caught this past week.

June 23rd; 2010: Not a bad stringer of fish Mike. The pike and bass will give a person a real challenge.

June 24Th; 2010: These two young anglers ended up tying during the youth fish contest here at the resort. They both managed to bring in two 8.5 inch pan fish.
