Cross-Country Skiing

Snowmobiling

Rainbow Resort has long been a beloved destination for snowmobiling enthusiasts. Our resort is located on a network of hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Experience the thrill of gliding through picturesque winter scenery as you explore the trails. We have cross-country ski packages, snowshoes and ice skates for rent and some sleds for use on our sliding hill.  In addition, we have some winter fishing equipment rentals.

Other Winter Activities

• Snowshoeing: Venture out onto our dedicated snowshoe trails and the many trails in the area including the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge.
• Ice Skating: Enjoy some classic winter fun on our ice-skating rink.
• Fishing: Rent our fish houses and try your hand at ice fishing on Little Bemidji Lake and the other area lakes.
• Sliding Hill: Experience the exhilaration and fun of sledding down our sliding hill.
• Cross-Country Skiing: Ski our scenic onsite big woods trails with ski in/ski out access from your lakeside lodging and ski the many other local ski trail systems in the area including Itasca State Park.
• Relax in the sauna, enjoy the recreation center and hot food & drinks in the lodge while enjoying the scenic view of the lake.
